WE LOVED THIS SERIES! Mostly me though. I was so thrilled when I saw the ending, which is a real tearjerker and an utter surprise at that. Even though this show had lots of crudeness it was maybe one of the best endings to a TV series that I’ve ever seen. I was very pleased that it didn’t end on a cliff hanger.
Available on: Netflix, Google Play, and Amazon.

Alien body snatchers called Souls invade Earth possessing nearly all humans. A few humans are able to resist and even fight back. One Soul possesses a young woman named Melanie Stryder and meets strong resistance. Over time the relationship between Melanie and the Soul, that calls itself Wanderer, possessing her becomes cooperative and even friendly. As Wanderer learns more about humanity it’s attitude changes.
This movie is based on a book by Stephanie Meyer who also wrote the Twilight series. The movie is done really well. I have not yet read the book so I cannot say how well the movie follows it. I suspect not everyone will be happy with the alien body snatchers being referred to as Souls. The vehicles with chrome-like exteriors were kinda cool. There are some great sports cars in the movie especially the Lotus. I also like the Unimogs. I enjoyed this movie.
Cast includes: Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons, Jake Abel, Frances Fisher, Chandler Canterbury, Diane Kruger. William Hurt, Boyd Holbrook, Scott Lawrence, Shawn Carter Peterson, Lee Hardee, Phil Austin, Raeden Greer, J.D. Evermore, Emily Browning, Mustafa Harris, Bokeem Woodbine, Alex Russell, David Lichtenstein

Gugure! Kokkuri-San

Kohina Ichimatsu a high school student who claims to be a doll, one day summons Kokkuri-san a fox spirit. After observing her unhealthy habits, he decides to haunt her: cooking for her and cleaning the house. The series opens up revieling the spirits that haunt her: Inugami (dog spirit), Shigaraki (tanuki spirit), and Tama (cat spirit).
The series was amazing! Though it’s quite random especially since it has an alien in it who is called Yamamoto who attends school with Kohina. For those who are interested in a good fantasy anime that has some value to it I would suggest this.
For those who want to watch it it’s available on: Animeshow and Crunchyroll.

This movie is basic low end science fiction, but hey, it’s out there and I gave it a try. The story is about a group of college kids who rent a spaceship and plan some fun on a distant resort planet. The rental ship is too slow so they con their tech savy friend into trying to speed up the ship. In tampering with the ship a mistake is made and they fly into an asteroid field and damage their ship. They are forced to attempt a landing on an unidentified earth-like planet. Once on the planet things get rough, obviously. Read more of this post
The Lone Gunmen

I have always loved the electric guitar playing the Star Spangled Banner!
The Lone Gunmen was a Fox Network spin-off of the X-Files. The last episode was aired mid 2001. It is about 3 good-hearted conspiracy reporters who publish a very small underground newspaper called The Lone Gunman. The mission for their newspaper is to root out conspiracies and coverups because they strongly believe the people have a right to know the truth, For the record I agree and that’s one of the many reasons I enjoyed this so much. When Aliens Attack
November 22, 2014
Posted by on When Aliens Attack is a National Geographic movie that outlines what might happen if Aliens arrived and decided they wanted to take ownership of the Earth or plunder the Earth for resources. Actual scientists theorize what might happen and the steps mankind might have to take to ensure survival.
Although at first glance this topic seems pretty silly they make a reasonable case for the possibility this could happen. I suppose it is reasonable to think the topic through even if you only do so for mental exercise.
This movie was actually well done and I enjoyed it. I found it thought provoking and informative too.
Available on Netflix, YouTube, National Geographic Website, Amazon Instant Video, Discovery Channel UK,
