Ripper Street

Ripper Street is a detective drama based on 1889 London’s Whitechapel district (east London). The story begins 6 months after the horrible Jack the Ripper murders. The main character Detective Inspector Edmund Reid(Mathew Macfadyen) along with Detective Sargent Bennet Drake(Jerome Flynn) do their best to fight crime and corruption which is rampant in their city.

I think Ripper Street is a really gripping show.  It is gritty and rough and the lines between right and wrong sometimes get quite blurry. I thought the actors did a good job, sets were great with a lot of attention to details.
